I was using Ghost 0.x for an extremely long time, and it was working out great for a blogging hack on shared hosting environment. Unfortunately, the infrastructure did not approve of newer versions of NodeJS.
I had to migrate my content from the old shared hosting platform to something where I could exercise more control over the environment and underlying virtual system. I picked up a low lying VPS, to host this journal and got the blog all set up. To my absolute horror, Ghost 2.x or rather any other newer version of Ghost does not import previous posts.
As all things must come to an end, the old posts do too. I will be starting this new journal from scratch. Not much on this one, just a small rant.
